Meeting Minutes - February 9, 2009
The meeting opened at 7:05 PM.
Those in attendance were:
Jim Lalla, Tom Dimaggio, Steve Guertin, Gail Guertin, Bob Heckman, Joyce Matott, Leif Erickson, Bob Coburn
The Meeting minutes of 1/12/09 were accepted.
Treasurer's Report of 1/12/09 was accepted.
2/9/09 Treasurer's Report: Balance $3758.27
Membership: 111 members
Old Business:
There were 38 individuals who participated in filling out Financial Impact Study forms - Total estimate spent there $9340.00
At the Rig Race there were 19 participants approx. spending there was $2350.00.
Trade Fair Estimate was $30,880
New Business:
We would like to add more ideas to the list of "Kennel friendly ideas".
Greg Barker attended the legislative meeting re;HB 191. There are a number of Bills that cover Mushers. Go to NH.Gov.
Bill 337- Requiring a permit to sell dogs- limit 2 dogs per year. This will be a huge issue for many dog breeders (Go to NH.Gov)

There is a tentative meeting about Dog Legislation in NH sponsored by the German Shephard Club on 3/29 at Sendaishi Pet Resort, LLC.
I will keep you updated when I find out more specifics, again this is "tentative".
