Meeting Minutes February 25, 2008
Present: Tom Dimaggio, Bob Heckman, George Cook, Joyce Matott, Mr & Mrs. Guertin, Jim Lalla, Bill Boyd
Meeting was opened at 7:05PM
Treasurer's Report- $3476.23
96 Members Fiscal year ends 4/30/08
Old Business:
Trail Description; Tom would like to go out on the trails with Chris Gamache (head of Trails Bureau @ DRED) so that Chris can better understand the needs of mushers.
Grant Application; A grant was submitted in the amount of $3300.00 for brochures and plastic signage - the check should be on it's way shortly! 2/3 of the brochures will go to Fish & Game.
Financial Impact Study- Bob Heckman will meet with someone from UNH
Legislation; HB #1143 goes to the nouse on 3/5/08
Hopefully HB1264 (ATV Bill) will be killed
Groomers & snowmobiles are exempt- only eliminating ATVs & Trail bikes
Donation for ISDRA- $100.00
New Business:
Annual Meeting will be 5/18/08 at Sendaishi Pet Resort, Manchester, NH
Ideas for speakers: Dog First Aid Dr. Eileen Petersen: Denny Albert,DVM
Experiences on giving sleddog rides!!
