Meeting Minutes June 11, 2007
Present: Tom Dimaggio, Jason Stevens, Bob Heckman, George Cook, Joyce Matott, Jennifer Cudispore (GUEST)
Meeting was opened at 7:15PM
The consensus of the BOD was that we had a very good annual meeting!
There was some positive feedback from the members as to the previous year.
We are in need of one more BOD member and Tom suggested Bob Coburn.
Financial Impact Study
Dave Steele is working on one for ISDRA, the state of MN is also working on one - Tom will try to get a copy of MN's study. Bob Heckman has some contacts at UNH - Plymouth U has done studies for the Equine Council and ATV clubs - How to pay for studies is a question
Treasurer's Report- $3053.26
BOD accepted last month's secretary's report.
Legislation- Passed House of Reps. Governor needs to sign legislation. Tom would like to have a "photo op" with the Governor - this would be great publicity
George opened discussion on training with ATVs. - controversial issue
Jennifer said it was where mushers wanted to train with ATVs - we need a clear and concise summary for mushers as to where you can be with what "vehicle" and when
Jericho Lake trail work is being done- approximately another 50 miles of trails by the end of summer.
Tom suggested we "define" training trails
I apologize for the tardiness of this report. It is our busy season and time is limited!
