Meeting Minutes - December 11, 2006
Meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM

Treasurer's Report
Balance in Treasury is $2,694.90.

NEW BUSINESS:
NHMA Trail Safety Guidelines & Trail Etiquette will be codified by Army Corp - State Trails user issues - need vaguity - Never use the word Never - say nothing the association can be held to.
Mushers need to report incidents no matter how minor Communication at the trailhead, on the trail - educate other users. If the musher has a problem report it.
Hill Village was never posted as being closed because of an incident. Tom indicated that Dave Kratz told him it ws closed to mushers. Kratz told Bill he never closed it.
NHMA is waiting for ACOE to review NHMA TSG & TE and send a draft back once competed with their guidelines.
Legislation - moving forward!!
If the acronym ATV is used in legislation it will not pass. Changing to DTV (dog training vehicle) might help
Jim reviewed initial email to Jay Phinizzey in regard to initializing written legislation- to use ATV or DTV? Board voted to change to DTV.
The study for the Berlin project is public. Public comment will take place during meetings (Master Plan is on the web) Sledders are listed as "other user group". Adisory meetings are public.
Jennifer Rocket has list of emergency numbers for Hill Village area. These numbers are listed on web and Bob suggested they be posted at trailhead.
Next meeting: will be January 8,2007 at 7:00PM at Sendaishi Pet Resort in Manchester.
